Minimum of 4 hours per week.

The Shift Administrator is responsible for the management of the hospital and for the direction and supervision of all clinical service functions and activities in the absence of a Leadership Team Member. Is responsible for the quality of patient care and ensures that sufficient and properly prepared staff is available. Is knowledgeable of social, economic, and legal issues affecting the healthcare systems.

Hiring Range Description:

Grade: N-98.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with current licensure as an R.N. in the State of Vermont.

Experience:

Four years recent clinical experience required. Minimum of two years supervisory experience and minimum of three years staff experience required.

Special Skills / Other:

Demonstrated ability in nursing practice and administration.

On Call Required:

Weekends:

Yes

How Often:

Every other weekend required.
