Distributes and monitors medication orders and evaluates pharmaceutical care of patients within the established policies and procedures of the pharmacy and the hospital, the laws and regulations of the State and Federal Governments concerning pharmacy practice, and the JCAHO regulations. Provides consultative services to medical and nursing staff and other health care professionals.

Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree or Pharmacy Doctor Degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
Special Skills / Other:
Current pharmacist licensure in the State of Vermont or eligible for such. The pharmacist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
